31 Days of Halloween with Smeared and Smudged-Day Twenty-One

The Dream Team are dipping their fingers into all things spooky, creepy, and scary, as we play along with the Smeared and Smudged 31 Days of Halloween. The team will be taking turns to fill the quota of 31 days on the Dream It Up! blog, and posting on their own blogs as well. Be sure to leave them lots of love as this is truly a challenge for many of them! Here is today's post from Jamie Martin:

Here is how my card was made;

1.  Stencil LL525 Bats on white paper with Glossy Black Dreamweaver Stencil Paste, set aside to dry.

2.  Lay LX7001 Damask on white paper, spray with Diet Cola Memory Mist, let dry.

3.  Die cut shape from the center and glue ontop of the bats after adding orange dots with a marker.

4.  Stamp Halloween Wish from Stampendous on white paper with VersaMark ink and emboss with black.

5.  Die cut sentiment cutting off the bottom.  Do this with orange and black papers and layer.

6.  Add green rhinestones to one of the bats eys and to the sentiment.

7.  Add ribbon from May Arts to the bottom and glue it on with 3 in 1 glue from Beacon Adhesives.

8.  Layer onto a black card and pop up the sentiment.

The Smeared and Smudged site is offering prizes each day of the month by a long list of sponsors...Dreamweaver being one of them, but we are also offering one stencil (our choice) to one lucky commenter on the Dream It Up! blog each day of the month! So, leave your comment below before heading over the Smeared and Smudged blog to view all of the other creepiness!

This is fab. Love the bats zooming towards you and your knotted ribbon. A great idea when challenged by a bow and it gives a really nice feature. Hugz

I had not thought of the damask background as Halloweenish, but I am being persuaded that it has many uses.
I like all the coordinations of orange.

I might not like spiders, but I LOVE bats!!! Here's a card that gets my whole-hearted endorsement. No scary spiders, no bloody hands, no monsters.....just lovely bats with glowing eyes.

Come hither, my dearies..... yaaaahaaahaaahaaaa!!! (read in a cackling voice)
