Zensdays with Lynell and Wayne #13

At last I've had a few minutes to do some tangling. Here is my creation...I didn't do it on a traditional tile. I don't know if it is because I am inexperienced or if I just need more elbow room when I work, but I have a hard time fitting in my practice on such a small tile/space. I started by using a soft green piece of cardstock and then rouged leaf green Archival Ink on one corner and Sienna Archival ink on the opposite corner. Rouging is exactly what it sounds like using a #18 stencil brush. The challenge for the diva this week is a duo tangle using two of Margaret Bremner's tangles called: Chebucto and Copada. I used Sakura's colored gel pens from three different sets... two different browns and a florescent aqua. (Love aqua....have you noticed?)

Wayne has joined the diva's challenge and to see that creation go to his Flickr site by clicking HERE. If you want to see all about the challenge this week it's a duo/tangle...and don't forget to take time and see what others have created too. Give them some encouragement by leaving a comment or two.

For our blog Wayne created a beautiful ZIA (which I hope to make into a card) using our new feather stencil (LG760).

Be sure to stop by the blog each Thursday to see what our wonderful stencil Dream it UP team have been up to! And would love to have you join our cardmaking challenges...you could win a stencil or two.

I am very impressed by the tangling virtuosity displayed in your response to the Diva's challenge and Wayne ' s feather stencil. Hmm. I wonder if one could use Zentangle in couples' therapy. I'm not saying you and Wayne need couples' therapy, but I rather doubt it. I have no idea. I'm just thinking aloud.

Like your 3-D Chebucto. I did a similar thing but did not put two rows together. Like the colors, The green and aqua really go well together.
