This is Pam again, as Lynell has only just returned from her whirlwind trip to the UK, and is a little fuzzy still...that's her story and she's sticking to it!
My card here features the new Sailboat stencil, with a very simple technique. I used a small panel of canvas, quickly brushed the ink colors from my Splendor Circus pad in stripes over the surface, overlapping. The Sailboat stencil was placed over the top and taped down on all sides. A small amount of Glossy White Embossing Paste was applied to my Spreader using a palette knife, and then spread across the stencil and up in a quick motion. Another swipe across to gather the excess paste before replacing in the jar, and carefully removing the tape from three sides, leaving a "hinge piece" to lift the stencil up and away. While the canvas panel was set aside to dry, the stencil was immediately put in water and cleaned with a soft nail brush, rinsed, and dried.
I stamped and embossed a portion of a Clear Magic sentiment set from Woodware on a raised banner to finish the card. My intention for this card was to create a retirement card. Who wouldn't want to retire on a boat with the sails fluttering in the breeze?

Beautiful card Pam! The sailboat is a favorite new stencil.
Love how this looks on the colored canvas, it's the perfect background! Great card!
I love the colors you used behind the sail boat and that boat is a fabulous design.
