Are you ready for the grand finale to our amazing week of Awesome in Autumn? This week we've been
playing with the Quietfire Design team, and have been so excited to play with
their amazing images and sentiments. In their beautiful calligraphic
style, their quotes and thoughts are the perfect addition to our
Dreamweaver designs. Follow along with us, and leave your comments for

The cards designed for this week's blog hop with Quietfire have been so much fun. This particular card though, is one that I can say would be quite easy to do multiples of for Christmas. Sometimes we create and the efforts become masterpieces, but if you have more than 20 cards to do the design needs to be streamlined. The angel stencil (LJ871)was simply dry embossed in the Big Shot machine. Tips to remember when doing this is to sandwich the stencil to protect it from the rollers at the top and bottom of the pass through rollers.
My layering through the machine from bottom to top is:
1. Thick white plate or platform without the tabs
2. Stencil face down
3. Cardstock ...spray the back of this with rubbing alcohol- it makes the design sharper without warping
4. Thick rubber mat by Stamping Details (sold at Stencil with Style)
5. Two acrylic plates (the Cuttlebug would be two acrylic "B" plates...be sure that if you do die cutting that you have a set of these for dies and a set for dry embossing your stencils. This cuts down on the stencils being warped by the overused die plates.
Once the embossing is done reposition the stencil onto the dry embossing and stencil with small brushes and either dyes or pigment inks. The embellishing touches were done with white glue and glitter from Art Institute Glitter. The lovely sentiment by Quietfire (stamp 5694)was stamped onto cardstock and the edging was rolled in white glue and sprinkled with Art Glitter.
Would like to thank Quietfire for this opportunity to use their beautiful rubber stamps this week. Don't forget to visit the team listed below and leave some love for an opportunity to win some beautiful materials from their company and ours. Hugs! Will be back on my Autumn track next Thursday.

Thanks for including the Big Shot sandwich! I can hardly wait to try this out. I have several metal stencils and always wondered how to do it. Your angle came out beautiful!
